Author Guidelines

The Journal of Software Engineering and Computing (JSEC) welcomes original and high-quality research contributions in the fields of software engineering, programming, computer science, and emerging computing technologies.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that present original research results, theoretical developments, technical innovations, or comprehensive reviews related to areas such as:

• Software engineering and software development methodologies

• Programming languages and software architectures

• Algorithms and computational methods

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning

• Distributed systems and cloud computing

• Computer networks and cybersecurity

• Data science and big data technologies

• Emerging technologies in computing

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in another journal or conference.

Manuscripts submitted to JSEC undergo an initial editorial screening to verify that they align with the journal’s aims and scope. Suitable submissions are then evaluated through a peer-review process conducted by qualified experts in the field.

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts:

• Are written in clear and professional English

• Follow a consistent academic structure (Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References)

• Include properly formatted citations and references

• Present original work that contributes to the advancement of computing and software engineering research

Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data, references, and ethical standards associated with their work.
